SHOOTOUT FOR SOLDIERS ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
The 24-Hour Lacrosse Event Will Bring on Gabby Steinhardt as the Director of Business Development

BALTIMORE, MD (Nov. 13, 2018) – Shootout for Soldiers, the 24-hour lacrosse event, has hired Gabby Steinhardt as the new Director of Business Development. Steinhardt, who has previously worked as the Director of Merchandise and Tour Director, will join Shootout for Soldiers in a full-time capacity to focus on the organization’s expanding efforts in sponsorship, fundraising, and event activation.

“For the last three years, Gabby has been the silent engine of Shootout for Soldiers, running our merchandise, driving the box truck and overseeing the event activation,” adds Merry Troper, Executive Director. “It’s exciting to have Gabby join in a full-time capacity to help scale our fundraising and sponsorship efforts, there’s nobody who knows this event better.”

Steinhardt has been part of Shootout for Soldiers since its founding and has attended the most Shootout for Soldiers events of any supporter – 36 and counting. She will be based out of Boston, Massachusetts, and will be onsite at the events all summer long.

“I’m humbled and excited to start this next chapter with Shootout for Soldiers, and I look forward to working with the lacrosse community to support our nation’s Veterans,” explains Gabby Steinhardt. “I’ve been fortunate to meet hundreds of local volunteers at the grassroots level who make this event happen, and I look forward to working with them to expand our impact.”

Steinhardt graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Media and Society from Hobart and Williams Smith College. For those interested in partnering with Shootout for Soldiers, she can be reached at [email protected]
