The Semper Fi Fund, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing “immediate financial assistance and lifetime” to veterans of all branches recently brought 116 veterans and their families together for a ski and snowboard clinic in Park City, Utah.

Casey Crabbe, a triple amputee, commented on the experience as an opportunity to socialize “with other veterans as they share experiences that are foreign to civilians.” Crabbe was thankful for the chance to talk to other veterans who experienced similar events in a setting he missed. Crabbe used to play baseball and snowboard but hasn’t been able to since his injury. The Semper Fi Fund enabled Crabbe to ski again and this time with his friends who understand the struggle he is going through.
