Veterans in Lynchburg came together for a fifteenth consecutive year to honor and remember those who couldn’t be with their friends and family this Christmas.  The tradition unites supporters, family members and Veterans themselves who know the feeling of being away from home for the holidays.

David Stokes, Vietnam Veterans of America Lynchburg Chapter President voiced his opinions to WDBJ 7 on the importance of Lynchburg citizens showing their support.

“We’re just here to let them know that somebody back home cares for them and has got their back,” he said.
