Shootout for Soldiers is partnering with Wood Lacrosse Sticks to make mini TWIGs to sell in support of our veterans. Justin Skaggs, who had participated in SFS the first year of the event has no connection with the military beyond respect for those who served. Yet, he still finds a way to help those who give up so much for this country.
“I want to see the history of the game and the mission of SFS merge into something that people are drawn to. I just hope people like it, and that something I make has a larger impact,” said Justin.
Justin decided to help with Shootout for Soldiers when a past participant called and asked for a custom stick. When he saw the final product, it seemed like a great match. “Any chance to help our service men and women is an opportunity worth taking,” Justin explained.
