Just let me start this by saying thank you to Shootout for Soldiers. The amount of work, time and energy put in to making one of these events, not to mention all the rest, must be ridiculous. Rest assured, all of it was worth it. From the moment the kids and I committed to Shootout For Soldiers, to the last minutes we spent helping fold the huge traveling American flag, we had the time of our lives. We are a big lacrosse family…I played, my son lives and breathes it, and I love coaching.
To have something we love, combine with a cause that we are 110% supportive of, being a military family, made Shootout For Soldiers Boston the experience of a lifetime. Not only for my son and I because we played, but because it brought together the things we hold dearest in our hearts….lacrosse, friends, family and patriotism.
We are proud to contribute, even just a small amount, and give back to those who have unselfishly given so much. I speak for ALL of my boys on CT Fast Attack when I say THANK YOU, SFS was a day none of us will ever forget, and it was our honor to share the lacrosse field with so many other like-minded Americans. We will DEFINITELY be seeing you all next year.
