PTSD is a serious matter in the military and too many of our veterans are coming home unable to cope with the disorder. Operation Delta Dog seeks to help these veterans by introducing them to rescue dogs and then providing classes for them and their dogs. These classes that can take up to a year enable the animal to become a service dog for their owners and helps their owners throughout the process.
Recently, a new addition has been brought to Operation Delta Dog with Nick and Saint. Nick is a U.S. Army veteran who served overseas in Iraq and Saint is a black lab mix that was rescued by Last Hope K9 Rescue. The pair will be taking classes through Operation Delta Dog for the next year. The real question with these rescue dogs and their owners is, who really rescued who?
